Maintenance & Security:
The environment in which we live is very important in determining how comfortable we feel and it is essential to feel relaxed and connected to our community center. The maintenance team is charged with the overall upkeep of all program areas, common areas and outside grounds of the AIC. Since the AIC building is 80 years old there are huge maintenance issues occasionally. Oftentimes, volunteers help keep our Center beautiful.

Security is essential to providing a safe space for our community members. Currently, security meetings are organized by staff members. Topics of discussion include policies that could make the Center more safe, current issues regarding security and long-term ideas about how to make the Center safer. If you are interested in having events at the AIC remember to consider the security offered at the event.
